Marseille and its creeks

True Marseillais often say "that if you only have two things to see in the city, it's the Bonne Mère and the Stade Vélodrome". This is not wrong because it is the good summary of the soul of its inhabitants.
But they never forget the old port and its famous avenue, La Canebière, the islands of Frioul and the Château d'If, its beaches along the Corniche and especially all the Calanques which go from the small port of Goudes to port of Cassis.
And then there is so much history to tell from its founding over 2,600 years ago…
